What is the role of the Team Leader?
The person registering your team will be the Team Leader. The Team Leader acts as the central point of contact between WaterAid and the other team members.

As the Team Leader, you will be asked to register yourself and each of your team members as fellow participants.

How long will the registration process take?
The whole team registration process should take around 10 minutes if you have contact information for all your team members to hand.

What information do I need at hand to register my team?
We will need to collect the following information about you and your fellow participants for health and safety purposes, and to help us allocate sponsorship monies raised after the challenge:

We regret that your team will not be approved without the information below for each team member who is 18 and over (for under 18s we just need the name and age). This is to ensure that WaterAid is able to reconcile sponsorship monies and make accurate Gift Aid claims from this event.

Do we have to raise Ł30 per person taking part?
No. Ł30 is our recommended average sponsorship target per person, but we recognise that for some people, especially younger children and families, this might not be achievable. All we ask is that you try and raise as much money for WaterAid as possible!

Why do you want my mobile number?
On the day of the challenge we can keep you updated with useful SMS bulletins and contact you in an emergency.

Can I update my team details in the future?
No. Registration takes place only once, so please ensure you have all the correct details to hand. However, should your circumstances change, or you need to add or remove a team member, please contact us via gowiththeflow@wateraid.org. Please note, submitting incomplete information at the time of registration may cause your registration to be rejected or delayed, so please collect the above information for each team member before you start the registration process.
