WaterAid's Go with the flow!

On 14 September 2008 our new nationwide sponsored walk took place around water ways in the UK.

The aim of the event is to get friends and family together to walk along some of the UK's beautiful water ways. You can decide how far and where you walk. Pack a picnic, grab your camera and embrace our country side, make it a walk to remember.

Online fundraising through JustGiving is the most efficient way to raise money for WaterAid.

The walks

We have lots of ideas for walks all across the UK, but you can also choose your own walk – it might be a favourite one, an easy one or something to challenge your group. It doesn’t matter where you walk as long as you tell us where you will be walking and you raise some money!

We suggest groups of between four and seven people. It is a fabulous opportunity for team building or getting together with friends and family. Your walk could always incorporate a picnic or a good British pub lunch!
